Background

If you're looking for a speaker, a writer, or a consultant, you want to know a bit about the person you might be working with. So, here I am.

Most of my workplace experience involves computers – programming, producing websites, working with databases. If you're interested in that side of my experience, I work in partnership with my wife, and we are available for all sorts of projects. My experience and expertise goes way beyond that, however, through a range of voluntary, unpaid and consulting work I've been involved in.

While I have a wide-ranging experience and several academic qualifications, the areas in which I think I am most able to give insights are around disability, experience of illness and patient advocacy, and the Religious Society of Friends, commonly known as Quakers. Have a look at those pages for more information on my background in those areas.

That doesn't mean I'm not available to work with you on other subjects. My interests and expertise are very broad, probably too broad to list here. You can always get in touch to find out more.

If you really want to know about my academic qualifications, I have prepared a list.
